Art — Bloomsbury — Interiors

John Carey's What Good Are the Arts?, Virginia Woolf's biography of Roger Fry, Nigel Nicolson's Portrait of a Marriage, Lytton Strachey's Eminent Victorians, and Christopher Reed's Bloomsbury Rooms: Modernism, Subculture, and Domesticity: these are to be my companions for the next seven days on another Reading Week. With temperatures currently in the high eighties, it's going to be tough going round that pool — but somebody's got to do it.
